26 March 2020 – Donation of packaging material for civil protection in Milan
Kenmare has provided the municipality of Milan with 10,000 resealable bags free of charge. These bags were needed for the delivery of thousands of protective masks to the civil protection personnel in Milan during the emergency due to the corona virus.
20 March 2020 – Smart working for employees and distribution of protective masks
All Kenmare employees work from home to ensure their safety in this tense situation. In order to make the daily life of the employees as safe as possible, 100 protective masks were provided to each employee for private use.
We hope that this small gesture has helped our employees in this difficult situation.
8 February 2020 – Foundation of Kenmare GmbH in Austria
We have decided to expand our activity to another economically stable country.
We are happy to lead this new company with the experience we have gained over the past few years. We will serve our new customers in the best possible way and supply them with high-quality products.
September 2019 – New Website
We have published our new website to better communicate our activity and inform customers about the ecological optimization of our products.
Every employee has made his or her contribution to this important task and together we have succeeded in achieving this optimization
June 2019 – Reusable bags from recycled PET bottles
In cooperation with our customers, we are working on common concepts that if you transform old packaging materials into new ones you get more environmentally friendly products.
One of these projects is the production of reusable bags, which are in themselves ecological products and are also made from recycled plastic bottles.
Each bag consists of 2 to 3 (depending on the size) recycled plastic bottles and thus contributes to environmental protection.

May 2019 – Paper bags for fruit and vegetables
From now on we offer paper bags also for fruits and vegetables in the supermarkets for all our customers.
April 2019 – FSC Certificate for Paper bags
We are very concerned about protecting the forests of our planet.
That's why we use FSC paper for our paper bags, which guarantees the reforestation of the forests needed for paper.

April 2019 – Blauer Engel Certificate for Paper bags
Paper is itself an ecological material, but we have succeeded in obtaining the Blue Angel certificate for bags made of 100% recycled paper.
The Blue Angel Ecolabel is controlled and awarded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment.
We are now able to supply all our customers with ecological bags.

January 2019 – Blauer Engel Certificate for bags made of 100% recycled plastic
The production of bags made of 100% recycled plastic is not easy, but essential for the environment.
We have succeeded in being awarded the Blue Angel Ecolabel for this product by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment.

January 2019 – Renewal of our existing certificates
Since 2016, we have been implementing biodegradable plastics in a wide range of applications.
We have several certificates, which are renewed every year by TüV Austria and for biodegradable plastics with minimum 40% biological content by Beta.
